    ED GIBBS

Agrees with the Tomatometer 75% of the time.

Biography: Ed Gibbs has been a film and music critic for over 15 years, both in London and Sydney. His love of movies stretches back to childhood in his native England, where he devoured the likes of Hitchcock, Spielberg et al before studying film in Scotland and the US. Ed has edited several film-related magazines, regularly hosts major film events (for the innovative Popcorn Taxi), is often asked to vent his filmic spleen on live radio, and worked on ‘The Latest and Greatest’ movie show, for the Showtime TV network. He also contributes to a wide variety of international publications, including Empire (he’s been a senior contributor since its launch in Australia in 2001), Rolling Stone, GQ, Men’s Style, Time Out (London) and The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney), among many others.
