Adrian Butchart is a British screenwriter and film producer.

Having started in British television, Butchart moved into the feature world in the United States, writing the highly acclaimed indie arthouse film I Love Your Work with actor and director Adam Goldberg. The film, an indictment on celebrity culture was not a commercial success but became part of film school curriculum, with a cast including Giovanni Ribisi, Christina Ricci, Joshua Jackson, Jason Lee, Vince Vaughn and Elvis Costello.

Butchart also wrote the popular Goal! trilogy of movies with producer Mike Jefferies and contributions from veteran British writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. The story of a young illegal immigrant, rising from poverty to become one of the World's greatest players is released by Disney and has been shown in 38 countries worldwide. Butchart was again one of the key writers on the second part of the trilogy, Goal! 2: Living the Dream..., which is due for release in February 2007.

His subject material moved from the world of soccer to the world of modeling in 2006 with a television series in development with model Christie Brinkley and producers Jonathan Prince and David Semel, which charts the course of a young middle American girl to the dizzy heights of the supermodel.
