Aida Turturro (born September 25, 1962) is an American actress who is most well-known for playing Janice Soprano, sister of New Jersey mob boss, Tony Soprano, on the HBO, TV series, The Sopranos, a role which netted her an Emmy Award nomination. She has also appeared in a number of films including Sleepers, What About Bob, Deep Blue Sea, Mickey Blue Eyes and Bringing Out the Dead.
Actors John Turturro and Nicholas Turturro are Aida's cousins.
