David Proval (born May 20,1942 in Brooklyn, New York as Aron Proval) is an American actor, best known for his role as Richie Aprile on the HBO television series The Sopranos. He has also appeared in such feature films as The Shawshank Redemption, Four Rooms, and Mean Streets, and has had recurring roles in television shows such as Picket Fences and Everybody Loves Raymond.
