Homayoun Ershadi (in Persian: همایون ارشادی), Actor, Born 1947, Sepahan, Iran. Studied architecture in Italy and worked in the field but Abbas Kiarostami chose him to play the leading role in 'A Taste of Cherry'. As a non-professional actor who started acting in his middle age, he succeeded very soon in cinema and TV. His expressionless, relaxed face and monotonous voice have given him to some extent the personality of an intellectual.
Some of his films:
- A Taste of Cherry, 1997
- The Lost Love
- The Pear Tree, 1998
- Classmate (TV series), 1999
