Ian Abercrombie (born September 11, 1936 in London) is an English actor. He's probably best remembered for playing Elaine Benes' boss Mr. Pitt during the sixth season of the hit sitcom, Seinfeld More recently he has appeared as a fastidious butler on Desperate Housewives.
