Volunteer Martin Savage (1898–December 19, 1919) was an Officer in the Dublin Brigade of the Irish Republican ArmyRoger McDonnell. On December 19, 1919 he was killed during a gun battle after an Ambush at Ashtown, near Dublin during the early stages of the Irish War of Independence also known as the Tan War.
