Maurice Ronet, born Maurice Robinet, (13 April 1927 - 14 March 1983) was a French film actor.

Ronet was born in Nice, the son of professional actors. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire where Jean-Louis Barrault was one of his mentors. He made his fim debut in Rendez-vous de juillet (1949) and then went on to act in many French and Italian films in the 1950s and 1960s, notably Plein Soleil (1960) and La Piscine (1969). He worked several times with directors Claude Chabrol and Louis Malle and with actor Alain Delon.

He was married to Maria Pacôme from 1950 until 1956 (divorce), and to Josephine Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin, from 1977 until his death.
