Michael Boatman (born 25 October 1964 in Colorado Springs, Colorado) is an American actor. He is most famous for playing the role of Carter Haywood on the hit sitcom Spin City and was a regular on the acclaimed series China Beach, as well as Arli$$. He has had many notable guest appearances, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Less Than Perfect, Scrubs and CSI: Miami.
