Rachid Bouchareb (born September 1, 1953) is a French film director.
Biography
He was born near Paris on 1.9.1953, he worked as an assistant director for France’s state television production company, S.F.P, from 1977-83 and subsequently for the broadcasters TF1 and Antenne 2. He began making short films, followed in 1985 by his feature film debut,BATON ROUGE. He and Jean Bréhat founded the production company, 3B, in 1988.His film, LITTLE SENEGAL, was shown in competition at the 2001 Berlinale.
