Randolph Mantooth (born September 19, 1945) is an American character actor, best known for his work in the 1970s medical drama Emergency!, as Robert Fuller's paramedic friend, John Gage, as well as his work on soap operas starting in the 1980s. Mantooth is half Seminole.

His role on Emergency!, paramedic John Gage, first shot him to stardom. He played the role from 1972 to 1979. Later, he found it difficult to sustain any long-term acting roles until he appeared as Clay Alden (later Alex Masters) on the soap opera Loving, which he played from 1987 to 1990 and from 1993 to 1995. Mantooth reprised his role as Alex Masters on The City from 1995 to 1997. Mantooth, referred to as "Randy Mantooth", was paid a bit of a satirical homage in The Tubes game-show parody tune "What Do You Want From Life?"

From 2003, Mantooth joined the cast as Hal Munson on As the World Turns taking over for Benjamin Hendrickson as a temporary replacement and later became a regular and after he left the soap, Hendrickson came back to the show.

Mantooth has been married to Kristen Connors since 2002.
