Hey group. It's been a long, boring summer filled with doing other things than watching TV all night. Does anyone know when the new season starts, so I can resume ignoring all phone calls from friends?

Teresa's pregnancy is confirmed and she decides not to have it. Everyone is pretty much relieved because it'd be near impossible for her to take care of it.Kirsten talks to Teresa and Teresa decides to have it. She moves back home to be with her mom.Caleb reveals to Sandy that he's going to be bankrupt soon.Marissa moves in with her mom. Julie and Jimmy get in an argument, but Marissa breaks it up.Seth tries to sell his boat for 6000 in order to give the money to Teresa, but the deal falls through.Seth and Marissa get in an argument, Seth claiming it's partly her fault for dragging him into her messed up world.Ryan decides to go back to Chino to help Teresa raise the baby.Caleb and Julie get married.Marissa tells Ryan she understands why he has to go and tells him she loves him.Seth tells Summer he doesn't know what he's going to do because before Ryan got here, he had no friends.Ryan says goodbye to the Cohens, but Seth pretty much ignores him.Ryan leaves to go to Chino.Kirsten starts crying in the pool house, Sandy comforts her.Marissa starts drinking again.Seth leaves two notes in his room marked: "Mom & Dad" and "Summer" then gets on his boat and starts sailing for Tahiti (I think) like he planned to do before Ryan showed up.And that's the season, folks. Can't wait for fall.

It was such a sad finale. I cried at the end. The tears started to come when Seth was talking to Summer. Then really came out when Kirsten started to cry. But Ryan has to come back, theres no show without him! Fall seems so far away!

I almost cried, especially when Seth was talking to Summer. Great delivery by Adam Brody. Anyway, a very sad finale, and of course he has to come back. So does Seth.

Great episode! But I really didn't understand why Summer went to Vegas!? Because she heard him kissing another girl, to say she loves him? I dunno. I knew Teresa was pregant as soon as she showed up again, I had a feeling. The cat fight was great, loved it. And when Jimmy punched Caleb, I was so happy. Don't want the season to end!

I'm with you. I don't want it to end, and I was so glad when Jimmy punched Caleb. I knew Teresa would be pregnant too, but hey, it's all good. And yeah, Summer went because he was kissing that other girl. As soon as she hung up on him, she said she wanted to go to Vegas.

Good show tonight. Here's the skinny:
Kirsten and Julie find out about Jimmy and Haley. Kirsten fears Haley is using Jimmy, but he feels it's real, so he asks her to just be happy for him.
Julie hires Kirsten to throw her bridal shower and enlist Marissa for help. To get back at her mom, Marissa invites her Aunt Cindy who almost ruins the shower by revealing embarassing details about her sister. However, Caleb doesn't seem to care and plans to marry her anyway.
Caleb buys the Lighthouse from Jimmy and Sandy for 2.5 million dollars. Marissa tries, but fails to tell Jimmy that she agreed to move in with Caleb and Julie after the wedding.
Sandy gets a phone call from Teresa who is back in town, catering at a local bakery. She's there because Eddie's been beating her and she needed some legal advice. Sandy promises not to tell Ryan.
Ryan and Marissa go to get the cake for the bridal shower. Just so happens Teresa is working at the time they're there and he sees the shiner she's wearing.
Ryan gets angry with Sandy for not telling him about Teresa, even though Sandy was sworn to secrecy.
Seth finally gets a chance to meet Summer's father, who is Summer's best friend. Trying to win him over, Seth falls flat and Summer's torn between listening to her father and staying with Seth.
Ryan leaves to go to Chino to try and talk or beat sense into Eddie, but halfway there realizes that Sandy is right, so he sees Teresa instead. The Coens invite Teresa to stay in the pool house and she accepts. Ryan now bunks with Seth.
Next Week's Episode:
Marissa finds out Teresa is pregnant (most likely with Ryan's baby)
The boys go to Las Vegas for a bachelor party. For some reason, Seth is in a hotel room with a stripper or something, and as they kiss Summer walks in. Don't know why she's in Vegas, must go there to tell him she loves him.
The girls have a bachelorette party and it looks as there Haley gets into a cat fight with some other gal and the end up in the pool. (HOTT!)
I think that's about it.

You were right, but it didn't really ruin the show, as they made it pretty obvious when he was pounding down beers and then sped away like an idiot. Well, I really enjoyed this weeks show... Marissa's gone after finding out last episode that Luke's been doing her mom. Ryan and Luke are frantically trying to find her and Julie finds out that Seth and Ryan knew. She then tells Ryan if he doesn't get Marissa back, she'll call the cops and Marissa's doctor. When Luke says something about the last place they would look for her, Ryan realizes she must be in Chino with Theresa. He leaves.

"The Nana" arrives at the Coen residence for the Passover. Expecting the usually grumpy and rude Nana, the Coens are surprised when this sweet little lady shows up. Sandy believes that she's up to something and sets out to find out what. Haley goes over to Jimmy's to try and woo him a bit, but he says that he can't.

Before seeing the Nana, Seth tells Summer he doesn't want her coming over to the house for the dinner because he doesn't want the Nana verbally attacking her and such. Determined to impress the Nana, Summer crams and begins learning about Jewish Passover. She shows up and does indeed impress the Nana and Seth.

Ryan arrives in Chino to get Marissa, but finds out that today is the day of Theresa and Eddy's engagement party. Eddy doesn't like the fact that Ryan shows up and the mix words. Marissa refuses to leave and Ryan refuses to leave without Marissa. Then Luke shows up and tries to get Marissa, but she smacks him and he leaves. Everyone ends up getting along, Marissa, Ryan, Theresa and Eddy. Ryan convinces Marissa to come back with him and they leave.

Sandy finally figures out why his mother's acting so nice: she has cancer. She's choosing to forgo treatment because she doesn't feel there's anything worth staying for. She tries not to tell Seth, but he overhears and gets upset. Eventually, Kirsten convinces The Nana to take treatment which makes everyone happy.

Marissa goes to her mother's house to get her clothes from the previous weekend and threatens that if Julie calls the cops or her doctor, then Marissa will tell Jimmy and Caleb about Julie and Luke. So Julie gives in and tells Marissa to get her clothes and leave. She does and goes over to the Passover supper at the Coens with Ryan, Summer and Seth. Jimmy also shows up and he and Haley decide to start dating, but to wait about telling Kirsten. Everyone has a nice dinner.

Next Week: Actually, they showed the preview for the last four episodes, not just next week. The scenes included:
-Caleb proposing to Julie
-Jimmy and Sandy getting in a fight about the restaurant
-Ryan and Marissa kissing
-And there's going to be a car accident which "may take someone from the OC" I couldn't tell, but I think the victim had black hair and was male. They also showed Marissa and Ryan standing on the side of the road by some flares with Marissa crying and Ryan staring ahead in bewilderment. I think it might be Jimmy who might die.

I don't think I missed anything.

Doesn't Ryan kinda annoy you, he looks so old. He seemed like such a wuss when he just fell down on the ground and skinned his elbow when he got pushed. That Marissa girl gets on my nerves too, with her annoying lets make everything a big deal whiny attitude. Seth is my favorite character, he is funny, and without him the show would not be the same. I also like Summer and that other girl that left.... can't remember her name... hope she comes back, she made it interesting.

Ryan doesn't annoy me at all. He looked a little older in this episode, but Luke usually takes the cake in terms of old-guy-playing-high-school-student.

Agreed about Luke. I like how in one episode they actually made the crack about Colin Hanks playing a teenager on the Valley. It was funny.

Ryan used to annoy me, but he's getting cooler. And I never really liked Anna. Seth and Summer belong together.

true... luke definately looks way too old. yeah, that crack about the guy playing a teenager on the Valley was funny... and that's what I like about Summer it's as though Seth and Summer belong together, but what I liked about Anna is that she brought a little uneasiness between the two to the picture for fun.

What a show it was.

Ryan goes back to the Mermaid Motel to get his watch and Seth accompanies him. On their way out, they spot Luke smacking up on Julie Cooper. They decide, or rather Seth decides, that Ryan should be the one to tell Luke to cut it out before Marissa finds out. He tells Luke the next day at school and doesn't give Luke a chance to say no.

Meanwhile, Summer and Marissa run into Grady (Colin Hanks) who's the star of the Valley, Summer's favorite show. He invites them to his birthday party in L.A. Seth and Ryan tag along so Seth can keep an eye on Summer. Marissa tries to stay behind, but Ryan told Luke to break it off with Julie that night, so he convinces Marissa to go.

Jimmy and Sandy run out of money and they still have to redecorate the restaurant before they open in a week or so. Sandy and Kirsten convince Jimmy to hire Julie (for free) to design it, but they still need money to do what she sees fit. Enter Caleb, who throws a party with some business folks he knows to get them the money. Luke tries to tell Julie, but they bump uglies twice before the party and he doesn't get the chance.

In Los Angeles, the foursome arrive at Luna Chicks, the strip club where Grady is having his party. Some gal played by Paris Hilton tries to seduce Seth, while Summer's starstruck by Grady. Grady takes Summer to his car to show her an as of yet unaired episode of the Valley, but she grows bored with him and finds Seth again. They apologize to each other and all is well.

Ryan and Marissa run into Kirsten's sister, Haley, who is working as a stripper at the club. They call Sandy and then decide they won't leave without her, but the club owner kicks them out. Sandy tells Jimmy, who yells at Caleb for trying to control the restaurant and leaves. Marissa and Ryan sneak back in by pretending Ryan is one of the stars of the Valley, but the owner finds them and throws them and Haley out. Just when they're about to start fighting Ryan, Jimmy shows up and smooths things out.

Jimmy returns Haley to the Coen household where she's welcomed warmly and Caleb has decided to let Sandy and Jimmy do as they please with the restaurant. Julie goes home and finds Luke, who breaks up with her, prompting her to call Caleb for the date he's been begging for.

Marissa and Ryan go to the pool house to hang out and have a bit of a pillow fight. Marissa wins and goes to the restroom. However, Luke shows up in the pool house and before Ryan can say anything, proclaims, "I'm done having sex with Julie Cooper." and Marissa hears it. When she notices Ryan knew, he tries to explain but she leaves.

Next Week: "The Nana", as Seth calls her, comes to say good-bye to her son, Sandy, because she has advanced lung cancer. She starts a couple of fights with Sandy about Kirsten's dad.

Julie finds out that Ryan and Seth knew. Marissa leaves and goes to Teresa's. Ryan shows up to get Marissa, much to Eddie's disappointment, seeing as it's his and Teresa's engagement party night. Ryan says he won't leave without her, and Marissa replies, "Then I guess you're not going."
