About The Movie: It isn't called High School Musical, but Vanessa Hudgens' latest family-friendly comedy still manages to take advantage of her Disney pop star status, giving her the role of a high school student whose pipes place her in the orbit of a misfit band manager (Gaelan Connell) and the singer (Alyson Michalka) he's helping exact revenge on her egotistical ex-boyfriend (Scott Porter). Will it be high art? Surely not -- and millions of tweens probably won't care.
