Reviews
Zombies, bad musical numbers, a talking dog, cyborgs, misleading flashbacks, dismemberment and baseball? I'm there even if it goes beyond silly at times.
Battlefield Baseball is a somewhat difficult movie to review; mainly because it’s really, really bad. But it’s so bad it’s good...
Can dismemberment be cute? Put it on a baseball diamond and the answer is... sort of.
Part martial-arts revenge parody and part faux zombie spectacle on a field of nightmares, and directed in the overripe, hysterical style of Japan's anime farces...
Not just excessively campy, but patently absurd, redeemed only by its sporadic fits of hilarity.
