Veteran Spoofers Sign On for "Scary Movie 4"
by Scott Weinberg | November 15, 2005

Carmen Electra, Simon Rex, and Leslie Nielsen will return to the silly spoof spot one more time when they co-star alongside Anna Faris in "Scary Movie 4," says The Hollywood Reporter.

"Electra, who died in the original installment of the "Scary Movie" franchise, is back to play a new character in a plotline that parodies "The Village." Spoof vet Nielsen and Rex will reprise their roles from "Scary Movie 3." Anna Faris and Regina Hall already have boarded the project. The fourth chapter of the spoof franchise will take on horror and superhero movies."

Directed by veteran spoofmaker David Zucker and written by Craig Mazin & Pat Proft, Dimension's "Scary Movie 4" aims to be ready for release on April 14th.

The first one was great, the 2nd one was shit, and the 3rd one was ok. This one will probably also just be ok, at least they got Electra back.

Agreed. The First one was awesome, the second one was iffy if not horrible, the third one was alright and i think if it's lucky, the 4th on could be okay. I just dont understand why they are making fun of superhero movies. It kinda messes up what the movie is suposed to be. A spoof of "Scary Movies". They should have made fun of "Saw" since the two saw movies are very popular.

Scary Movie was the funniest movie I have ever seen. Scary Movie 2 was weak but had its moments. Scary Movie 3 sucked and it doesn't have a single laugh in it, I mean PG-13 ehat next a PG Saw movie? As for Scary Movie 4 I say Fu&k that I'll just go watch Robovampire instead ( The stupidest movie ever made).
