Trailer Bulletin: The Insane "Smokin' Aces"
Last week I was all set to share the all-new and seriously energetic trailer for Joe Carnahan's "Smokin' Aces," but the official site went bye-bye before I could spread the word. Fortunately the guys over at FirstShowing.net know where it can be found...
Click here for the scoop from the FS.net gang.
Synopsis: "An FBI agent (Ryan Reynolds) hunts for a Las Vegas stand up comedian (Jeremy Piven) who has decided to squeal on the mob but, before he heads off for protective custody, decides to go to the casinos at Lake Tahoe for one last good time, drawing a crowd of assassins (including Ben Affleck and Alicia Keys)."
Carnahan's previous films include "Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane" and "Narc."
Also on board are for "Smokin' Aces" are Ray Liotta, Andy Garcia, Peter Berg, and Jason Bateman. Too bad the flick's not due till February.

on Aug 18 2006 04:40 PM where the flying shit did this movie come from??!! I might be the only one who's amped to see how well Common can act, but having Liotta, Garcia, and Piven should get a lot of other people excited. Plus Narc was reallly well directed. This might be the best fall movie season I've ever witnessed (Reply to this) |
