Milo Ventimiglia Making the Most of Heroes' Downtime
Pathology, Game, and Chaos Theory in the pipeline.

The writers' strike might have brought Season Two of NBC's Heroes to a premature end, but series star Milo Ventimiglia isn't just sitting around twiddling his thumbs; in fact, you're about to see quite a lot of him at a theater near you.

As Ventimiglia tells Entertainment Weekly, he's working on two films before Christmas -- and that's in addition to Pathology, the long-delayed medical thriller he'll be starring in early next year. Dig it:

I'm pretty busy. I'm doing two features before Christmas. One is called Game, and that's with Gerard Butler and Amber Valletta. It's written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the same guys who did Pathology, the movie I have coming out in the spring.

Game finds Ventimiglia playing, in his words, "a very interesting futuristic character that's not necessarily in control of himself." He's also playing the villain in Chaos Theory, an independent feature "about a guy who leads a very organized life, and someone comes into that life and just sets a downward spiral in motion."

Doing a couple crap movies before he gets back to his T.V. show. That's great!

did you really just compare the success of the Matrix to whatever flash in the pan crapfest Peter Patrelli is squeezing out? REALLY? I think I just saw all of these on sale for $3.99 in the bargain bin at Blockbuster. BTW it's nice to see that Peter Patrelli is trying to do new things with his career like playing 'a very interesting futuristic character that's not necessarily in control of himself'... um, you mean like a character that has super powers and can't control them and might blow up New York? Is that what you had in mind. Good to see he's not getting typecast... I wonder if his new character has "really long bangs nad a brother who can fly".

um I did?? Maybe you need to read my post again.

I think my point my only point is everyone on here is so negative, so cynical, it just reminded of some of my friends. And how is all that negativity working for ya? Is it making your life better to be so cynical? its not doing very much for my friends, all they do is work and come home and sulk and drink. haha

yeah seriously, the movies sound kind of meh, but who knows. I kind of like movies about futuristic characters...well that's all I got.

What did you see for sale? Always looking for a bargain you know. And I like Milo and he's doing a bit of work now, maybe B level stuff but he's doing something constructive with his time. More power to the man. I've seen him in Gilmore Girls, in Rocky Balboa and Heroes and he's a pretty good actor finding his way.
