Seth Rogen on Green Hornet Workout and Kevin Smith's Draft
Getting in shape has never been easy for the lazy.

Seth Rogen is an interesting choice to write The Green Hornet because he is a comedian. He’s an even more interesting choice to play The Green Hornet because, well, look at him. That’s been the joke of all of his comedies. Rogen continues to take a humorous approach to a potential workout regimen.

"[I wonder] If they still have those things that they just electronically work out for you as you lay there doing nothing," Rogen pondered. "They electronically stimulate your muscles into working out so I can be lazy and athletic at the same time. Pay someone to exercise me."

The Green Hornet property was under Kevin Smith’s banner for a long time: the ultimate comic fanboy wrote a script but decided not to direct it. Rogen will not take the opportunity to read Smith’s draft.

"I'm actually friends with Kevin Smith and he said I probably could read it if I wanted. I don't want to. I have no interest right now in reading it I would say. At some point."

If he read it before, he might fall in love with an awesome idea that Smith still owns. "Exactly. I'm just afraid of that."

I want Rogen to Play Zack in Smith's new flick! i think it would be an excellent choice of casting, if Smith could only compromise and let Rogen roll with improv

That's a good guess. Smith said he's casting a guy he's never worked with before and as comedy goes Seth Rogen is the man right now. Also, he's the right age for a high school reunion movie.

To be honest, I was kind of relieved that Rosario turned down the part. She's hot, but not necessarily sweet. We need a sweet Miri. Someone you wouldn't think would do porn... Isla Fisher!!!!

Seth Rogen as Zack. Isla Fisher as Miri.

Bring on Zack and Miri...

Yes. Rogena and Smith would be a dream team up.

I just can't picture Rogen as the Green Hornet and I can't even imagine what kind of script he's going to come-up with. I'm afraid this one's gonna suck, big-time. At one time I was actually looking forward to a Green Hornet movie, but that was back when George Clooney's name was being tossed around. He's Brit Reed. Now I'm just pissed. Firts the Green Lantern with Jack Black, now this bull****.

So I do not know anything about greenhornet. But I am guessing since both Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen are/were involded that this character like joking around about sex and every vulgar... if so than Greenhornet sounds like my kinda movie!

I love Rosario Dawson! She is definitely one of the few lights that shine among young Hollywood actresses these days. She is still attached to the Zack and Miri film, right? It still shows her on imdb and when I met her at my local Heroes Convention just this past June, she said that she was doing this pic with Smith later this year. Whats the deal?! ;-/

btw, Rogen as Green Hornet. no! not unless its a spoof. I like Rogen, but he's not Hornet.
