When was the last time this guy had a stay in the bing. I can tell you from personal experience the characters actions and scenarios have the feel of authenticity that only someone who has been there can relate to. Sorry Mr LA Times maybe you could watch an episode of "Lockup" for the non-"movie-phonie" prison-reality you demand.
