Petersen Heads Back to the Water
Wolfgang Petersen is working on a remake of the 1972 disaster film "The Poseidon Adventure," Production Weekly reports. The film will begin shooting in May, and is scheduled to be completed in September. Petersen is no stranger to stories of traumatic boat trips: he has also directed "Das Boot" and "The Perfect Storm." The original starred Gene Hackman and Ernest Borgnine.
