Everyone in Donna (Annabella Sciorra) and Michael's (Ron Eldard) Italian neighborhood in the Bronx is thrilled that they're planning to wed. But the bride and groom have their own issues. Michael wonders when Donna became so demanding and difficult, while Donna ponders when Michael will grow up. He can't understand the significance of a rainbow bridal party or sky blue colored mashed potatoes at the reception. She is dumbfounded by his need to be with his friends at the local bar in time for THE HONEYMOONERS every night. The question is, Are they marrying because they want to, or because they are expected to? Tensions rise as the big day draws closer and erupt at the worst possible time: the reception.
