Trailer Bulletin: When a Stranger Calls
by Scott Weinberg | January 19, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

Click right here to check out the trailer for "When a Stranger Calls," which (get this!) is a remake of a horror film (of the same name) from 1979. Seriously, they're remaking horror movies now! (It's rated PG-13, it stars Camilla Belle, and it's from the guy who directed "Con Air.") Back to Article

This looks soo nostalgic.
It donsnt look like it trying to have a storyline, a few things look cliched but it looks like its cliched and dosnt care. It generates a cool suspensfull atmosphere, and seems to have some style. Looks better than, "Cry Wolf", "Venom", or House of Wax. Much better.

What if A Stranger Calls and we ingored him by renting out the orginal instead?
About the only way they can update the original is by giving the stranger a cell phone and really, is that reason enough for a remake?

seriously?
what's wrong with you? This is the dumbest thing i've ever seen. When i first saw the trailer on tv, i thought it was a commercial for a home security system.

"Do you like scary movies"

I won't be able to watch it without thinking about Scream...
