For Satan's amusement, God returns Steve to earth in the form of a beautiful woman. After she gets over the shock of having the body of a woman, Amanda blackmails Steve's boss to get his/her job back and persuades Margot to give her some lessons in acting like a woman. With some effort Amanda manages to convince Steve's best friend, Walter Stone (Jimmy Smits), that Steve is now a woman. She even finds that being a woman is useful at work, helping her land the multimillion-dollar advertising account of gay executive Sheila Faxton (Lorraine Bracco), who's looking for more than just a business relationship.
