Well, it is amazing that the man still has a career. From reading the synopsis, it sounds like a terminator rip off (man goes to the past to change the future).

Why doesn't he just go back in time a few years later when the kid is old enough to actually do something other have horrible acne and awkward erections. A 13 year old can barely speak the alphabet without his voice cracking much less save the world.

Hey, Sonny Spoon was a good show. MvP isn't bad either... just hasn't really ever had any good breaks. He may be z-list, but it's really nothing to do with his acting. Success in Hollywood doesn't have a lot to do with talent really.
