But then David undergoes a sudden personality change, and his behavior turns possessive and violent. Furthermore, Nicole's dad Steve discovers that David has lied about his past, which in reality is quite disturbing. Steve puts an end to the relationship, against the lovebirds' wishes. Reviews
Though cheesy and illogical, this thriller has charming performances, and an exciting climax.
Wahlberg's creep-tastic slow-burn makes this predictable potboiler a little bit scary and a lot more entertaining.
The only thing scary about this film is watching Mark Wahlberg's career as an actor begin to dissipate.
