That's because she's a car thief who has just stolen the wrong vehicle -- one that has over 2 million bucks, and a device for counterfeiting, in the trunk. Even worse, the money and machine just happen to belong to a mob boss. Upon learning the truth, Jack immediately goes to the FBI. But the gangster has already paid off the agents on the case, and they're in his pocket.
