on Jul 20 2007 07:07 AM How does someone who works for RT not know he was making two films when it was reported on here like 3 months ago he was making 2 films? (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 07:47 AM When exactly does Steven Soderbergh sleep? Most directors take at least a year or two ... sometimes more ... to get a project up and running. But this guy seems to crank out two or three movies a year! It really is amazing! He's like a machine! A very talented machine! (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 08:24 AM In reply to this comment (#952815) What's more embarrassing is that BOTH movies were mentioned in an RT forum thread not but a month and a half ago. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 08:39 AM I0m really surprised too that you didn't know about the two movies, it was reported here and it's being on imdb for months now anyway, I hope he's shooting in spanish, I hate it when they make the actors speak english with an accent in this kind of movies (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 09:03 AM In reply to this comment (#953143) Steven Soderbergh and Steven Spielberg alternate in sleep. Steven King also joins in. What's with guys named Steven and being really prolific? (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 10:10 AM In reply to this comment (#953271) Maybe I should change my name to Steven so I can get some things done! (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 10:54 AM Yo! Weinberg! It's CATALINA SANDINO MORENO!!! Not SandinA MorenA. You guys and your lazy research... (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 01:31 PM Well looks like someones got a case of... Cli-Che Guevara... lets just think about the merchandising... oh wait... every little punk kid around the suburbs has some sorta (Cli-) Che Guevara hat/shirt/who gives a F---... /sarcasm the only reason this might get me to see it... is Benicio Del Toro... Ive liked him in the past... and this hopefully boosts his career... because it would suck to see him do these two... have them suck... and then therefore making.. idk.. "The wolf man" worse off because of hisbad rep... nevertheless... Im glad they attached him... Ive got an ok feeling with this... (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 01:56 PM Soderbergh's never really done anything to win me over, but I do really like Del Toro, Ormond, and Potente so who knows. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 20 2007 07:08 PM Perhaps while doing all the glamorous stuff they'll do to make yet another preening biopic of this mythical figure, they could do a little research and find out that Che Guevara was no hero. He was a proto-Castro, a fascist dictator in the making who tried to climb to power by spouting platitudes. It's embarrassing seeing people glorify this man as some 'champion of the people'. The people were nothing to him. Christopher Hitchens summed it up perfectly: Che is only an icon because he failed, which leaves only his flowery speeches to judge him by. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 23 2007 09:50 AM ^^^ Christopher Hitchens, while he can be pretty funny, is a douchebag that takes pride in being a dumbass iconoclast and who has accomplished absolutely nothing with his life but to state the obvious and peddle his crap to easily influenced liberal pussies who know jack **** about the world but feel they do once they are in the camp of an-- oh my-- ****ing writer of ****ty articles. Yawn. And you haven't seen the movies, they're not even completed yet, and you're stating what the view of Che will be already? Rofl you are an A-Class Douchebag of the John Edwards variety. Anyway, Soderbergh is real dope when on his game so there is more than enough reason to be optimistic as to the quality of the film[s] regardless of the endlessly debated views on Che.
