Alan Oliver (Frank Whaley) is an ad executive who lives in the last lane of life and romance. Leaving his job in sunny L.A. to work for a website in cold, rainy Seattle doesn't seem like such a bad idea since the perks are so great. Alan, however, has no clue that his life is about to change drastically. Just when he thinks everything is all peaches and cream, his longtime girlfriend moves out, and his employer (Jean Stapleton) has him removed from his most lucrative account. Turning to his best friend (Anabeth Gish) for comfort and advice seems to be the best thing to do since she's always been there for him. Soon the relationship becomes more than just friendship as Alan realizes he might be in love. [More]
