Paul McGann stars as Jack Worthing, who loves to escape into a dreamworld of his own creation, which revolves around his imaginary friend, Ernest. Jack also spends much of his time lusting after local belle Gwendolen Fairfax (Amanda Redman). Algernon Moncrieff (Rupert Frazer) spends much of his time in a similar realm of fantasy, alongside his own creation of the mind, Banbury. Algernon's eye is captivated by a girl named Cecily Cardew (Natalie Ogle). But when their two worlds collide, things begin to fall apart. [More]
