Pooja is going to have a baby, everybody is excited and happy Adi is busy training for his contest when suddenly catastrophe strikes. Adi is thrown out of his luxurious house and forced to stay in a shabby outhouse. Adi is puzzled and consoles himself that his father is playing some kind of a cruel joke. But his hurt turns to fury when he realizes that Ishwar and Sumi have no intention of relenting. Their doors are shut they don't give a damn what happens to him. Land of the Lost is, despite its terrible acting, wooden production value, and hilariously bad special effects, rather quaintly silly and bizarrely entertaining.
A minor cult has grown around this 1970s children's TV show. Then again, minor cults have grown around L. Ron Hubbard and Chizuo Matsumoto . . .
