Well-known music producer Nile Rodgers covered the song's production while filmmaker Danny Schechter documented the effort. Notable contributors included Spike Lee--whose direction helped make the music video possible--and a host of legendary performers such as Dionne Warwick, Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross, Bernadette Peters, Pattie LaBelle, and more.
