"Saw III" Trailer Comes with "The Descent"
by Scott Weinberg | July 17, 2006
Discuss Article
As if my fellow gorehounds needed another reason to go see "The Descent" when it opens on August 4th ... Lionsgate recently announced that the brand-new "Saw III" trailer will be playing in front of Neil Marshall's mega-nasty subterranean horrorfest.

Thanks to Movieweb.com for the tip.

"Saw III" stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, and Angus MacFadyen. It opens on October 27th.

"The Descent," as stated numerous times by people all over the place, is fantastic.

The Descent looks fantastic. :)

And honestly, I can't wait for Saw III. I can't get enough of Saw. I hope they keep making these every year. That would be grand. I'm addicted.

No, SEVEN was a brilliant movie. You know, that movie that Saw takes it's philosophical and cinematic elements from. Saw is a good waste of an hour and a half of your life, but nonetheless a waste.

Se7en WAS brilliant and David Fincher's best
But I really enjoyed the Saw movies. THey were more horror than the psychological thriller that Seven was. They are some of the best horror movies to come out recently and hopefully, from what I've heard, the Descent will have excellent execution.

Oh yeah, and killermonkey822, for your joke, write the Descent is DECENT. Two different words. Aight, I'm done.

Hope the Descent is good.

The Descent is awesome! Those who were smart enough to get a UK DVD version will know this.

By the way, Marshall pulled a 'Deliverance' on us, it may be set in the Appalachians, but it was shot in Scotland. Surprising really, he did a great job of the setting.

I think I'll go to see it at the movies, just to see it on the big screen, even if they do screw up the ending.

That movie is awesome. The director did a really good job on following the script. I saw it 5 times.
