While Francis (Judson Pearce Morgan), and his best friend Alan (Neil Hopkins) attend the festivities, they are led into a sensational sideshow exhibit that will change their lives forever. Inside his murky tent, sinister hypnotist Dr. Caligari (Daamen Krall) is the keeper of the clairvoyant sleepwalker Cesare (Doug Jones), who wakes from his endless night to predict Alan's terrifying future. Soon after, Holstenwall suffers a series of murders, and Francis alone suspects the Doctor and his mysterious somnambulist. With no help from the town's chief inspector, Francis decides to take matters into his own hands.
