Red Band Exclusive: Dennis Hopper in Hell Ride
The Easy Rider is back in this week's B-movie biker homage.
What do you get when you mix guns, alcohol, sex, and bikers? Throw in Michael Madsen, B-movie star Larry Bishop, Eric Balfour, Vinnie Jones, Leonor Varela, David Carradine, Dennis Hopper, and Quentin Tarantino, and you've got a throwback exploitation flick homage called Hell Ride. Curious to watch a clip?
As the story goes, executive producer Quentin Tarantino encouraged cult movie star Larry Bishop to write, direct, and act in his own movie; Hell Ride is the result. In Hell Ride, a trio of bikers -- The Gent (Michael Madsen), Pistolero (Bishop), and Comanche (Eric Balfour) -- are out for revenge against rival gang the 666ers, led by The Deuce (David Carradine) and Billy Wings (Vinnie Jones). Sex, drugs, and a whole lot of bloodshed ensue in the familiar fashion of the best 1960s-era biker gang flicks.
In our exclusive clip below, the trio encounter biker Eddie "Scratch" Zero (Dennis Hopper), who engages Comanche in an intellectual meeting of minds...filled with menace, expletives, and a special kind of biker's handshake.
