They entertain wild fantasies to get even through a series of outrageous incidents. When the film first came to theaters in 1980, it was a huge hit not just because of the quality of the film but because of the subject matter of women being treated fairly in the workplace. Dolly Parton's theme song was nominated for an Academy Award. [More]

Seen nearly 30 years later, it actually seems better than ever -- which may be as much a comment on the state of comedy films today as on the quality of Nine to Five.

Gets off to a great start but loses its taste for revenge toward the end.

So-so office revenge comedy that seems way overpraised in retrospect.

Dolly Parton's supporting role as a secretary is the most memorable aspect.

Guilty pleasure. I'm sorry, but Lily Tomlin as a demented Snow White, complete with animated birdies? Rock!

Infectiously entertaining little 80's comedy that features three great leading ladies and the immortal Dabney Coleman.
