Summary

We've read Ice Cube and Common's names being floated in connection with the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming "The A-Team" adaptation -- now, courtesy of Blackfilm, comes word that The Game is being "heavily considered" for the part. Back to Article

No No No No No No! Or as Vader would put it... Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

Damn, this film coulda been great, but already it just feels like a seen it all before Mission Impossible style film. Have the producers even seen the A-Team?

Why do us Net Nerds come up with better casting choices than the the casting directors?

The big black guy from TDK (the one on the prison boat) would be better than this puny guy. Or Ving Rhames, or michael Clark Duncan! Why cant hollywood see the wood for the trees?

Jim Carrey would make THE perfect Murdoch, but I bet they go for someone like Ryan Reynolds or something.

Mr. T should play B.A. Baracus.

Why do I keep hearing the worst casting choices.

The Game can't act too well, I saw him in Street Kings. Common couldn't act either unless he's playing Common in films like: American Gangster, Terminator Salvation, and Smokin Aces. He seemed like Common in all of those. Neither.
Why am I not hearing Ving Rhames? unless they go with an unknown.

Speaking of Mr. T, did anyone see that infomercial he's on?

I thought they were talking about HHH, which seemed strange, but not that much stranger than the truth.

The Game shouldn't be in this movie. He's just not really a good actor. He's a pretty good artist but acting isn't where he does very well. I would pick Common over him but he's not really right for this role either. If I were them I would pick someone really big like Terry Crews or Tommy Lister (big black guy from TDK). The Game is really going to have to hit the weights if he wants to look anything like B.A.

Good Lord, I hope this isn't true. The Game's a terrible enough rapper; let's not feed his ego any further by allowing him to think he can act, too.

Not to mention, the game is pretty much the antithesis of what Mr. T's character is all about. Plus I think The Game has a clause in his contract where he doesn't have to take his grill out.

Anyways, I think Kimbo would play a better Mr. T. And just for everyone's sake, I'll spare us a 'pity the fool' joke.

Ha, ya same here bigbrother, thought HHH was who they were saying at first.
Shoot, he might be better than some rapper...

M.C. Duncan or Ving would be a good choice for B.A.

Ya, JudgeDredd the big black guy on the boat in the TDK is Debo from Friday and other movies.

the game is a bad choice to play him, although better than common. but terry crewes, or ving rhames or tiny zeus lister would be awesome choices.

Ving Rhames and Tommy Lister are likely too old for the cast they are trying to put together here (young 30 somethings)

Though Ving would kick some a$$ in that role!

I'll still hold a candle for Michael Clarke Duncan.

I think The Game would be fantastic in this role. He's proven his acting abilities in his past films and his fresh take on the part would make it new and hip. Don't forget his huge following in the music world that would attract a whole new group of millions of viewers who might not be familiar with the franchise.

yea i agree with the guy above. Ving Rhames is too old for the cast they are goin for. I also think MC Duncan might be too tall. Mr T isn't that tall and MCD would likely dwarf the rest of the cast. I'm pullin for RAMPAGE JACKSON.

Kimbo, already has a Mr. T haircut, and Mr. T is supposed to be big and intimidating, Rampage Jackson isn't nearly tall enough

you obviously have no idea who The Game is. show me some videos where the guy has a grill in his mouth. the guy is from Compton not Atlanta.

Sorry to offend your delicate sensibilities. I was only making a joke, you've heard of them before, right? You'll have to excuse me, but I don't take any rapper seriously.

Michael Clarke Duncan is a massive 6'5. But Liam Neeson is 6'4...so he wouldn't exactly tower over Hannibal. Bradley Cooper is 6'1, but with the right pair of shoes, he could appear taller.

Height won't be a problem for any director worth his salt. Angles can be cheated if necessary.
