Agent Cody Banks (2003)
Cody's living every boy's dream life - he can drive like a stuntman, has an incredible arsenal of cool gadgets, and his agency mentor, Ronica Miles (Angie Harmon), is totally hot. But Cody's training is put to the test when he's sent to pose as a prep school student and befriend fellow teen Natalie Connors (Hilary Duff) in order to gain access to her father, a scientist unknowingly developing a fleet of deadly nanobots for the evil organization ERIS. Reviews
The movie is bouncy and colourful, and cheesy in a nice way, but it outstays its welcome in the last half hour.
Has a surprisingly grown-up feel to it ... which makes it more entertaining for everyone watching.
A formulaic Hollywood 'crowd-pleaser' that can be summed up in three words ('Teenage James Bond!').
This may be a case of mission unaccomplished, but the future looks brighter for Cody Banks than it does for Austin Powers.
...Cody Banks is a little older than the Spy Kids and, consequently, more into the girl thing. I'm not sure it improves the picture.
Se você quer conhecer jovens espiões que realmente mereçam sua atenção, as melhores opções ainda são os dois Pequenos Espiões e o tenso Os Heróis Não Têm Idade.
It’s as though for every good idea the movie has, someone from the writing committee jumped in and said, 'Yeah, but let’s put a fart joke right after that.'
A childish version of the James Bond story about an awkward teen thrust into a mission to save the world.
When [Muniz's] Cody gets close to a girl, there is an eager terror on his face and in his body language that hits the adolescence angst nail squarely on the head.
