Norman Lear's groundbreaking 1970s television series ALL IN THE FAMILY showcased Carroll O'Connor as the notoriously bigoted, working-class family man Archie Bunker, whose conservative views affected his interactions with his family, including his scatterbrained but saintly wife Edith (Jean Stapleton), daughter Gloria (Sally Struthers), and liberal son in-law Mike "Meathead" Stivic (Rob Reiner). A landmark series for the frank, outrageously funny way it dealt with social issues and stereotypes, ALL IN THE FAMILY ran from 1971-83, garnering 48 Emmy nominations, and spawning several spin-offs, including MAUDE, GOOD TIMES, and THE JEFFERSONS. This collection presents eight fan-favorite episodes: "The Blockbuster," "The Insurance is Cancelled," "Christmas Day at the Bunkers," "The Man in the Street," "Cousin Maude's Visit," "Edith's Problem," "The Elevator Story," and "Archie and the FBI."
