Reviews for The Astronaut's Wife
Makes the most of the shopworn material, delivering quiet chills and a genuinely eerie atmosphere.
Chilly, muted and refreshingly free of cheap shocks, this stylish psychological horror tale is greatly enhanced by subtle performances by leads Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron.
I beg you to not see it in hope that Hollywood will stop making films like these.
Theron and Ravich's style keeps one watching, but by the conclusion one may wish one hadn't.
It's scary. It's well-acted. It's filmed with a degree of flash and elegance.
There is a terribly fine line between nihilism and rampant idiocy, and he hurls himself across it.
