On-Set Video from Bourne's Final "Ultimatum"
Down for some videos shot from someone on (OK, near) the set of the newest Jason Bourne movie? Dying to see Matt Damon waving politely at a bunch of nearby fans? Well, good for you because someone's got videos just like that!
ComingSoon.net pointed use towards The Movie Reporter, which is where you'll find three video clips that act as proof that "The Bourne Ultimatum" is being shot somewhere right now. Yes, as you read this. And they better get movin'. Universal plans to have the third Bourne adventure ready for multiplex consumption on August 3rd. Which would probably make these reshoots. I'm guessing.
As you've no doubt heard by now, "The Bourne Ultimatum" will be Damon's third foray into superspydom, and he'll be backed up by folks like Julia Stiles, Joan Allen, David Strathairn, Paddy Considine, and Edgar Ramirez. Paul Greengrass will be returning for a second go-round, and he's working from a screenplay by a veritable all-star team of scribes: Tony Gilroy, Tom Stoppard, Scott Burns, and Paul Attanasio. Wonder who'll be on the credits after the arbitration meetings...

selke99 writes: on Feb 01 2007 06:02 AM I liked the first much better than the second. I wish they would have used Liman or someone else as director instead of Greengrass. That stupid nausea-inducing camera motion is pointless. Similar to my only complaint with Batman Begins. Batman and Bourne are supposed to be martial arts experts, so why can't the audience enjoy their moves instead of watching it like a fly on their shoulders? Who wants a camera view from the floor of a car? (Reply to this) |

Bigbrother writes: on Feb 02 2007 02:25 PM I actually kinda liked the fight sequences in these movies. The way they were orchestrated lent a realness to them missing in this age of John Woo and Crouching Tiger "Artistic" fight seens. Also liked the same things about Last Samurai. My only regrets with these movies is they didn't stick closer to and incorporate more of the plot lines from the books. (Reply to this) |
