I think its actually a great Idea to take a break from the characters that made him famous.... for a few films, just enough to gain interest in them... just wait and see after 'Red State'... im expecting something good is stirring up in his (lovely ) head... and also... I was able to really relate with those guys Dante and Randall. Teens my age really wonder about our future, etc. We definitely didn't want to be like those guys, which made it funny. It was mentioned in the Clerks 2 DVD that they were lucky to get Rosario in the cast. Let's hope Smith can beg her to return. Smith is VERY hit or miss on his movies and cameos...even moreso now than ever so i'm not sold on this being that funny. the guy used to make movies that were hilarious but i think the whole Affleck JLo thing took him down. he spent more time b3tching to the media about how affleck wronged him...its like he's lost his mojo. Clerks 2 was good but it wasn't enough to make up for the crapfest that was Jay and Bob strike back or the clerks tv show...or Jersey Girl. and again, all the horndogs that are EXPECTING her to get naked...might be in for a cockblock because i think she's like alba/portman/cuthbert...will show everything but the goods.
