The film is a gentle comedy -- there aren't that many laugh outloud moments, but there are a few nicely observed details. Unfortunately,the plotting is fairly obvious -- one can easily predict where the movieis going to wind up.

Stuffed like a tissue box with heartbreaking laughs... Compared to most recent romantic comedies, which this flick quasi-resembles, Comeback Season is a crowd-pleaser that won't insult your intelligence.
