The 1980 concert featured all the songs that garnered the band its well-deserved attention. On offer is the synth-driven, electro pop sound developed by Mark Mothersbaugh and Jerry Casale to express the de-evolution they saw in the increasingly alienating world around them, populated by humans of an ever more herd-like mentality. With songs like "Whip It," "Girl U Want," and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," Devo knew how to make a statement while making its audience get up and dance. [More]
