on May 09 2008 04:29 PM Ewwww. AT LEAST it's estranged from the original somewhat, but still. No. (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 09 2008 04:39 PM Not a chance in hell this will be any good. (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 09 2008 04:47 PM let's do a southland tales 2 without Kelley too. that'll work out great.... this is terrible news (Reply to this) |

on May 09 2008 04:57 PM wtf (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 09 2008 05:04 PM A Richard Kelly-less Donnie Darko sequel? How about a Donnie Darko-less Donnie Darko sequel. (Reply to this) |
on May 09 2008 05:05 PM Oh wow. A sequel where all the main characters are dead. A sequel for No Country for Old Men actually makes more sense. . . I loved INTO THE WILD, how about a sequel of that? Both films have Jena Malone, and she didn't die in the first film. . . HORRIBLE IDEA. I loved Darko. It's a great "cult" film. Just as I loved "Something Wild." If they made a sequel to the most under-rated film of all time "Something Wild" I'd be, well, sad. and flatulent. (Reply to this) |

on May 09 2008 06:10 PM Just what the world needs. A listless sequel to one of the most overrated films of the last 10 years. (Reply to this) |
on May 09 2008 06:47 PM I give up on these muthafu ckahs! (Reply to this) |
on May 09 2008 07:07 PM I wonder when Kelly's THE BOX is coming out. (Reply to this) |
on May 10 2008 07:48 AM I would prefer them to remake the original, with Matthew McConaughey as Donnie and Kate Hudson as his sister. (Reply to this) |

on May 10 2008 07:59 AM The Train, That would rule, because incest is best! (Reply to this) |
on May 10 2008 09:16 AM How do things like this happen? Why do babies die? Why do old ladies get mugged? Sometimes life is filled with things we can't account for. A Donnie Darko sequel (sans everything that made the first one work, like the guy who actually wrote and directed it) is one of those things. Dear God why... why do you poop on my day? Now everything just seems so poopy. (Reply to this) |
on May 10 2008 09:31 AM Poohey goodness! Why do Babies Die? Because, babies are stupid. Why do old ladies get mugged? Because, they are stupid! And guess what> I just pooped on my face, and I think it is sucha disgrace, that I just pooped on my face1` (Reply to this) |
on May 10 2008 09:42 AM How can you have a sequel to something like "Donnie Darko"? Main character deaths aside, what about the incredibly warped (no pun intended) sense of time and space that was built into the plot, making it difficult enough to understand what the f*** happened? (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 10 2008 10:11 AM Having a sequel to Donnie Darko is like having a sequel to Memento. It just doesn't make sense. This is HORRIBLE news to start my day off with. (Reply to this) |
on May 10 2008 10:51 AM This just seems like a stupid idea, but then again if they can make a sequel to The Birds then this isn't so surprising. (Reply to this) |
