Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger decided that 2004 was a suitable year to resurrect the legacy that has haunted them since the death of singer Jim Morrison, and reformed The Doors in a brand new incarnation. Along for the ride this time out were former singer of The Cult, Ian Astbury, as well as drummer Ty Dennis (original sticksman John Densmore declined the invitation to rejoin), and bass player Angelo Barbera. The idea was to embark at exactly the same point as the band left off, with a tour based around the album "L.A. Woman." Other classics proliferate throughout as well, including "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To The Other Side)," and many more.
