Nick Cannon's done the acting thing ("Drumline," "Love Don't Cost a Thing") and the screenwriting thing (the upcoming "Underclassman") -- and he's just signed a deal to combine both talents on another project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Extra Protection" is about "a (pair of) male and female FBI trainees who are assigned to deliver a witness to a crucial hearing." Superstar Will Smith will act as a producer on the project.
