Summary

Martial arts purists, unite: Hollywood is planning a remake of Bruce Lee's classic Enter the Dragon. According to Variety, it will not be a faithful version but rather a contemporized remake, with noir undertones, set in the illicit world of fight clubs. Back to Article

As a Big Bruce lee fan, It'll be blasphemous to do this. UNLESS. They get a JKD expert that could portray the essence of what the choreography was of the original. Tony Jaa or Stephen Chow(or is it cho). But i'm all for it. I'd go see it.

There are actually probably alot of Earl Flynn's, there is only one Errol Flynn :). Don't sweat it man I do the typo's all the time. That one just struck me as one of those inadvertantly hilarious ones.

People are being murdered in Darfur right now and you're going to protest about a movie being remade? Give me a break. Get over yourselves.

No to the remake of "Enter the Dragon!" Too many classic lines and scenes!

Now "Five Deadly Venoms" I'd consider, if only to make improvements in sound and cinematography in what was a cool story of a film. After all, isn't that SUPPOSED TO BE THE POINT OF A REMAKE ?!? At least Tarantino gave FDV a shoutout in Kill Bill...

Oh nooooo. A pseudo-intellectual and pseudo-sensitive BS comment on a damn movie comment box. Good job pretentious blowhard!!! Then you go do something about people dying in some foreign land and stay the hell off this page OK? At least other people on here aren't so damn pretentious and pseudo-sensitive as you. People dying where? Who gives a ****? I don't. But I do care about some moron remaking Enter the Dragon. So, while that may make me some insensitive jackass in your pretentious blowhard self; but I am not a pretentious *** like you.

Oh my Gaaaawd... he wants to "expose the brutality of Shaolin kung fu" ???

Bodi Dharma would turn in his grave if he read this. Most of the Chinese Wushu that is popular today had its origins out of pure necessity by common peasants to defend themselves. These people had no intention of warring with anyone, or being "brutal". The Shao-Lin order have strict policies of maintaining harmony, and to never use the art for bellicose purposes. There's nothing "brutal" to expose there.

Sutter has his head so far up his butt he can extract his kidney stones with his teeth.

People are also being murdered in NY, London and Tokyo, but unlike in Darfur they don't have you and Bradjelina Jolie-Pitts looking out for them and will have to handle their own problems. Unfortunately the rest of us can't find the time to spend constantly bemoaning the horrors going on in the world 24/7. Seriously what a dumb comment.

This is just another slap-in-the-face for Bruce and his fans, Hollywood F***'d him over his ideas for HIS Show KUNG FU with David Carradine which Bruce WAS supposed to be the main actor, but THEY (Hollywood) said she was too Asian and the American Audience wasn't ready for an Asian Actor..so they used David instead and NO CREDIT was given to Bruce for HIS Idea, and here it is again Asian Monk (Tony Jaa and Jet Li would be great team)and American FBI agent (yet again who cares) That's my 2 Yen

They should remake GAME OF DEATH because that sucked. And this sounds like another JASON STATHAM vehicle. And if it is I hope he fights TONY JAA or becomes his sidekick.

They're remaking this way too soon, they haven't yet invented the serum that will bring Bruce Lee back as a zombie.
