The crew in this Danish gangster comedy are well into adulthood and still haven't outgrown the petty crimes they commit with the crew. Fleeing from a crime spree, they see a more legit future in an abandoned building as the old friends decide to renovate and open a restaurant in this hiding place they have stumbled upon. Now, these motley crew, who weren't even skilled in making a living illegally, attempt to turn the lives around while turning the restaurant business upside down. Combining a brutish gangster sensibility with a gentle sense of humor, director Anders Thomas Jensen (screenwriter of MIFUNE) has constructed an unusually sweet comedy about ruffians. [More]
