Stanley (Holden) has just finished his first play which catches the attention of leading actress Beatrice (Rogers) and her ex-husband Harry, a theater producer. Things get dicey, however, when Harry ages a character so he can cast Beatrice instead of Sally, the intended actress for the part. Sally and Stanley object, as does everyone else who sees it: the play bombs in its out of town run. But in the meantime, both actresses have fallen in love with Stanley. Ever the producer, Harry manoeuvres events so that his ex-wife will return to him, while Sally pairs off with Stanley. [More]
