They should have called this One Room and released it as a Rodriguez short.

In one room, a coven of young witches congregate to bring their leader back from the dead... and they're just dying to use Ted in a rather personal way. In another room, the bellhop becomes a pawn in a couple's kinky psychological games. A third room is being torn apart by two unruly kids while their parents are out painting the town red. And in a fourth, three men involve Ted in a bet -- one that has potentially bloody results. [More]

Reviews for Four Rooms
Anthology films never work; Tarantino is not infallible; casting Madonna as a lesbian witch and Bruce Willis in a silly party hat doesn't necessarily make for great entertainment.
As a whole, Four Rooms is only diverting, and pretty mindless, but at its best it's a lot of fun.
A ghastly train wreck of a movie, littered with the corpses of promising careers.
Maybe if you're a young, raw Hollywood aspirant, you believe that it's a sign of sophistication to be unrattled by the bizarre.
If anything, it may give pause to those who think Tarantino can do no wrong.
An over-anticipated, overworked movie that was full of talent but devoid of taste.
Even Tim Roth, an otherwise dependable actor, disappoints with overacting.
The result is a batch of shrill, self-indulgent sketches that turn so wretched in spots you start to wonder if the filmmakers wanted them to be bad.
